Mulan starring Vicki Zhao is now up for preorder at both YesAsia and Blu-Asia.
Blu-Asia states it's a 2 disc where YesAsia makes no memtion of it.
Release date is Feb.9th. Gotta have it

ordered. The trailer on blu-asia looks pretty good, and I loved her in Red Cliff!

Mulan was a pretty good movie. Zhao Wei was as good as usual, but the movie itself was just ok. Its more of a drama than a action film, but enjoyable. I'll probably end up ordering the blu-ray for this one.

Funnilly, this also makes me want the disney animated Mulan on Blu-Ray as well.

Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh aren't in this. If you want to see a pretty good film with Jet Li, pick up Warlords.

Since this is a Chinese film, I would assume it's in Mandarin.

I've got it ordered, but I probably won't see it for a couple of weeks. I've got it bundled with Storm Warriors, and that doesn't come out until the 14th I think.

I ordered from play-asia.com. They usually ship on or about the release date, but the shipping from HK takes 1-2 weeks. It was around $30 shipped, which I consider "acceptable" for an import.

FYI.... all the extras (107 minutes worth) are on a DVD that does have English subtitles but you will need an all region DVD player to watch.

I ordered this as soon as the preorder went up, but it sure it taking a while to arrive (ordered from Play-Asia). They shipped it on Feb. 12th but I'm still waiting.
