KRP 500m - DHCP issues with HD Sat box? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey all!

I have had this issue since the first day I bought my HD-Sat box and I just wanted to see if you guys had ideas.

When I hook up my Motorola HD-box via HDMI it always comes up on the TV blinking a message saying 'DHCP not compatible' or something of the like. I can't actually watch TV with HDMI.

I am using the component cables right now and everything works fine but as I have the HDMI cable and prefer the neat and tidy look of HDMI I would like to switch it over.

One other key fact is I am running all my inputs into my Denon and then I have 1 HDMI cable to my KRP-500m. It works fine with everything except the Motorola HD box.

Have you tried changing the cable from the Cable box to the reciever?

Have you tried connecting the cable box directly to the television by HDMI?
