Default Would like some opinions..

i am in the market for a new television. right now i just have a 42" insignia 1080p LCD. i would like to go bigger if possible. i have been thinking that i would definitely go with a panasonic plasma this time around, but i have to admit the LED sets have really impressed me. now i am teetering between those two. i dont have any particular models that i like considering i do not know much about the LEDs at all. plus, if i go plasma, im definitely thinking panasonic, but their newer series with the S and G and X and V and all that confuses me! i just dont know what would be the best bang for my buck. i also dont know about the care of the LEDs, like do you still have to break them in? do they need to be calibrated? i dont even know which of the brands are the top brands when it comes to LED. and last, but not least, i would like to stay under $2000 if possible. i may have a little wiggle room if its worth it. please help...
