Default Bedroom Setup..

I'm looking to improve my bedroom setup but also keep the Wife happy.. I'm not looking to put a full receiver/speaker setup as there is not enough room. I was thinking of just putting a sound bar to help improve my setup (I know sound bars suck..). I have a full blown system in the Living Room. Any thought on these or any others??

Boston Acoustics TVee Powered Soundbar
Samsung HT-WS1G
VIZIO VSB210WS Universal HD Sound Bar
Polk Audio SurroundBar SDA IHT
JVC TH-BA1 Soundbar System

Looking to spend around $300..

I'd look at ZVOX AUDIO first.

If your looking to spend $300 or less, have you thought about a nice surround set.

Something like the Polk RM6750 or Klipsch Quintet III's?

Both are real surround sound that I believe is wonderful for a small-med size bedroom.

What receiver are you going to be using for this room?

add the sony ht-ct00 to your list. it gets great reviews, is probably the only one of the above mentioned soundbars that has hdmi inputs, and it most definitely can be found for less than $300. i bought mine for $217. i have it in my bedroom w/ a 32" lg lcd, and it's perfect for what i wanted out of it. i wholeheartedly recommend it for your application.

it definitely is an improvement over the tv speakers and is very easy to set up. i have a full surround set up in my living room as well, but would hate to deal with all the hassle of surround speakers in the bedroom. i'd also have an unhappy wife. in my opinion, a full surround set plus a receiver in a bedroom is definite overkill if you're going to be using the bedroom tv as most everyone i know does. most of the tv watching is done in the living room so that's where the better system is. the sony soundbar is a great solution if you're just looking to upgrade the tv's sound in the bedroom w/o the hassle of a receiver plus speakers. also, you'll save a couple hundred bucks by going this route as well...

If you are interested, I was going to sell my Klipsch Quintet IIIs for about 300. If you are interested, PM me.
