Hey guys. Not a scorching hot deal, but for those of us in Canada, we can order the 2010 olympic commemorative Blu-Ray box set. It's 79.95, and if you order now, you get a free Olympic games book (30$ value). Very cool little package

Since it's including the opening and closing ceremonies, it's obviously coming out after the games end, but will it include footage from the actual events themselves. like some hockey games for example?

Tempted but first want to know how much the DVD Box set will cost. There is no option on http://store.ctvolympics.ca/Pages/ca...ry=AllProducts for a purchase. It only has the Bluray Box Set. But it mention's above it will be available for DVD.

DVD is 59, 20$ less. No way I'd buy it if it weren't in HD

i just bit the bullet and took the 9.95 shipping. I really couldn't find anyhting else i wanted, under 50$. I'm not a huge fan of the "believe" gear, i think the HBC stuff is a lot nicer.

Just pulled the trigger on the box set myself. The hockey game sealed the deal...so many great stories and performances at these olympics. Well worth it.

i want to get one too

i want the replica jersey ($135), but with crosby on the back. gonna be hard to find i think, as the jerseys with the name and number seem to be about $600, way out of my price range.

Just to let you know the hockey games are available on iTunes in their entirety for $2.49 each.

Certain things are worthy of paying full retail, this is one of those things. CTV did an amazing job on these olympics, better than CBC ever have. The sharing of the olympics with tsn/sportsnet was key, I hated waiting for cbc replays in the past.
