Default Disney +'s "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" (Season 7 Premiere 2019)

I have yet to see an official thread on this. I've seen one in the Blu-ray section, and numerous threads here on different stuff, but nothing to talk about the show as a whole. If there is I am sorry!

Last week's episode was interesting because it showed that Obi-Wan perhaps
[Show spoiler] had a romantic past with Duchess Satine Kryze of Mandalore
.

I love this show so much. It's helped me understand the rest of the movies and what is going on so much.

Any news on to how long this show going to go on?

No one I know of watches this show. Everyone is usually in agreement that they already did the "Clone Wars" with the previous Cartoon Network cartoon that actually fits in line with the movies so they ignore this one.

I dunno...anyone else feel the same?

I watch the show and love it. I never miss an episode and yes, last week was a big one. i have the first season on blu-ray and can't get enough of it. it is (the show) is well done and stylized. i want them to use the surrounds a little more but other than that i love it. i forgot how many episodes they said they had purchased but i think CN did purchase quite a lot of them for at least a couple of seasons. it has been one of their most highly rated series on the network to date.

I guess you don't know me! I love it. I can't speak for "everyone" but i can't get enough. of course i'm a fan of 3d modeling & animation so i'm kinda partial but it's also that it's fun, for me anyway! of course to each his own, we're cool!

I watch it as well and like it a lot. It has gotten progressively better with each episode and I look forward to every episode and story arc. I like all the foreshadowing they do with relations to the movies. For example this last episode had that in more ways than one. Also I want to see how they deal with Cad Bane, that is one mean and nasty bounty hunter. One last thing the series on Blu looks and sounds amazing.

Cad Bane is bad ass for real. I like his evil self.

I am most interested in how they deal with Ahsoka and why she isn't mentioned in Episode 3.

Me too, I'm hoping that by the end of the series they address what happened to Ahsoka. Did she die, survive, get banished from the Jedi order?

Just watched last weeks episode, it was an awesome one! Had one of my favorite parts ever of any Star Wars show...I'll just say it was at the end when Anakin showed up!

That last episode was intese. The end was EXACTLY what it should have been. It really showed how similar and how different Anakin and Obi-wan really are.

IMO, this show is the best thing to happen to the Star Wars universe (note, I have yet to read the books). Lucas says he wants to do at least 100 episodes of this show. So... 5 seasons. So for those worrying about what they are gonna do about Ahsoka, don't worry, there's still time.

My speculation on the fate of Ahsoka. Since there is still LOTS of this show left before it's done, they will develop Ahsoka into a very talented Jedi, and give her a lot more character than she has now. They want you to like this character, and they will (I think anyway) have her death be the result of poor judgement by Anakin, or at least have her die in a way that makes it easy for Anakin to blame himself and fall closer to the dark side. One of the main reasons for Jedi not being allowed to have emotional attachments is so they do not have to suffer the pain of loss, and the emotional power that drags them over to the dark side. I have a feeling, by the last few episodes, Anakin and Ahsoka will be like Brother and Sister.

again, thats just my speculation

I really love this show and own the first season on Blu - it has some awesome episodes, you should read the review here on Blu-ray.com, it sort of convinced me to start watching (it's an awesome digibook to boot!):

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Star-...y-Review/5173/

And seems to be quite a number here who like it:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-mo...lu-ray-33.html

My understanding is it's going for 5 seasons, completing the story of The Clone Wars.

I think it is an excellent show and they are able to tell stories with lots of actual story and still plenty of action.

I have been watching since the first episode (I also enjoy the movie) This TV series is actualy much better then most of the crap you can find on TV these days. Don't judge it only from the movie, the series is actualy much better and get's better from episode to episode. Season look's stunning on BD by the way

Now, I liked the prequel movies. I just didn't really like Anakin's character in them. I didn't care that it was HIM who was turning into Darth Vader.

Watching this show, I really like his character, and I do not want to see him turn to the dark side. Man, Lucas should re-do all 6 movies in this format

Friday was a good episode. I am loving this season so much. Palpatine was not happy with the end results at all.

I have watched since the first episode, but am thinking of dropping it soon. Something about the writing seems...off to me. It does not help we know the ultimate destiny for the principal characters. The quality of the animation is great for a television show. Framing many episodes around the political intrigue of the Senate though does almost nothing for me at this point.

Massive show. Not a bad episode yet, though there have been one or two lesser storylines. Fits in wonderfully with the mythology of the films. My wife and I never miss it.
