Default Dear Avatar:

Throughout my life, I can count the total films in which I have gone to in theaters, and just walked away feeling I got the life kicked right out of me. When I leave, I just feel changed, impacted, and it's these experiences that remind me what I love so much about movies.

Forrest Gump, The Matrix, The Blair Witch Project are just a few on this list that literally changed me in some way...made me feel joyful about life, or made me feel invincible, or perhaps made me think witchery was actually real.

Avatar, you have now just made that list. I have not been so impacted from a movie in over 8 years. Quite honestly, I was losing hope in ever obtaining this feeling again. You remind me that hope is still alive in Hollywood.

Plus, it's been awhile since I almost cried three times in a movie, while being completely immersed to where I felt I was in the movie at times, along with one of the best and touching stories I have heard/seen.

Thank you Avatar. You deserve to stand along with the greatest.
