Cool Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007)

Halloween-The movie (2007) Rob Zombie

Looks like it's a MGM movie (Wesintein). Anyone else excited about this?

I'm a huge fan of the Halloween's, Friday the 13th's & Freddy flicks.

I guess it's a 80's thing

Anyways...has anyone heard anything about this? A BD release possibly..etc.

Lets discuss here:

No, it's Dimension under the Weinstein Company. MGM is the theatrical distributor in North America.

DOH! ~(_8(|)

We'll probably still get it day & date since Weinstein seems to be about to make an neutral announcement any day now based off comments from comic-con.

I can't wait to see this. I'm looking forward to seeing how he adds his own touch to the franchise.

I've heard some very mixed reviews based on early screenings of this, but I'm still looking forward to this. I absolutely hate House of 1000 Corpses, but I thought Devil's Rejects was pretty cool, so my overall opinion of Rob Zombie as a movie guy is still pretty mixed. But, I love the new Texas Chainsaw movies, so hopefully this will be at least as good as those.

I agree. Realized he couldn't sing,so he picked up a movie camera instead.

I REALLY think by the time it comes out to buy, Weinstein will have gone neutral. I'm pretty confident in this assumption, thus having Rob Zombie's Halloween in my wishlist (depending on whether it's any good of course! It may get taken off come October 19th!)

Looks pretty cool to me, I thought Devil's Rejects was good. So, hopefully he can improve upon that one and give us something great.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one yet. I'm a fan of the original so I hope I won't be dissapointed. I must say though that I was plesantly suprised with the devil's rejects so I'm willing to give it a shot.
