Disturbia - Beautiful PQ! - Blu-ray Forum

Just bought Disturbia @ CC and man is it a beauty. The picture quality is top notch anyone else bought it and watched it on Blu? I'm suprised no one has started a thread on this today.

There's a thread on here saying the PQ is soft. I've seen reviews with better than average PQ.

The films PQ is better than alot of Blu's ive seen i was instantly impressed and that doesnt happen often lol

I rented it. Never saw it in theaters so I didn't buy it. I am going to watch it tonight, hopefully I will be impressed as well.

i saw disturbia in theaters, but i dont think its worth 30 bucks, the movie wasnt that good

i bought disturbia today..i liked it..i also thought the PQ was better than what i've seen recently, i suggest a purchase

I watched it and I have to say I was really impressed. The visuals were great and at some points amazing. The audio is the real treat though. If you have a good 5.1 setup it is very immersive. This is one of the best thriller movies I have seen recently and once I find a good price on it I will definatly get my own copy.

Out of the 150+ Blu-Rays I have, i'd say this one is a little above average. The picture isn't soft, it's just overly processed. The darker parts lose detail because they tried to up the contrast ratio.

Not sure if this counts as a spoiler, but the end fight in the guy's house was way to dark to see anything due to the over processed video.

I guess High Def Digest also mentions this...

Ick no, she has a fine body but her "i'm sedductive" acting in this movie was the only downfall I thought.

yeah i meant,, if it was one of those silly movies that aint worth to buy.
i saw part of the trailer, a specific scene where looks like a copy of girl next door.

There is that scene, but it's actually funnier than in The Girl Next Door. Just because of Shia's reactions at the door... But I do recommend this movie. I've seen it twice now and can't wait to see it a third time. Lots of fun!

Yeah I saw it in theatres and thought it was really good. So I did purchase it on Tuesday from BB but still have yet to get a chance to watch it actually. Looking forward to it even more though now that you all have said it looks great.
