FirstPlay, a brand new interactive HD show for gamers, from the makers of Official PlayStation Magazine, will launch March 2010 in the PlayStation Store.

A weekly compendium of digital HD content, FirstPlay is downloaded directly to your PS3 hard drive and viewed on your TV screen. Made up of quality video reviews and previews, interviews and User Generated Content from the PlayStation Network it will also give subscribers access to exclusive demos and downloads not available anywhere else.

I got an email today saying I will soon be getting a code so that I can download a video of how its all going to work, kinda like a preview. I assume this will be something I can download from the store?

Looking at the screenshots on the website, it looks like it says 99p..

So I imagine it would be better value to subscribe

I think a year subscription cost me $15CDN. I can't remember that well anymore though.

Apparently subscriptions are going to be offered through retail partners as well as on the store. Might see some discount action from some places.

Is this and UK's Official Playstation Magazine published by Future? US's Playstation: The Official Magazine and Qore are both by Future.

Since people are asking about Qore's prices for comparison, they're $2.99 per episode and $24.99 for the 1st year's subscription.

$2.99 USD = 1.89 GBP
$24.99 = 15.83 GBP

Yeah i watched it. it was ok, basicly the same as Qore. there wasnt alot that interested me this time but thats the same when buying a PS mag sometimes its a good issue sometimes a not so good. i wouldnt mind paying a couple quid for it so depending on the price not being too high i will probably subscribe

Edit: Oh and i expect to see you in the Singstar number 1 video spot doing your Lady Gaga impression

Yeah I got to watch it last night, I was impressed. Most of the stuff is outdated now but it looks like its got good potential.

It's 99p per weekly release with some extra discount if you subscribe for 3 months. Probably best off just buying the weeks that interest you.
