Default Terminator 2 T-800 Skull Set - PQ=???

So as most of you know, there's two versions of T2 on Blu. The regular, first release, and the Skynet Edition release. The Skynet Edition has a noticeable (improved) difference in PQ from the regular.

Now, there's also a special T-800 Skull Set of the movie (on Blu). Basically, which PQ does the Skull Set have? First or SE release?

For those in need of some visual aids...

= OR ???

I cant see the pic but i believe you mean this one:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Termi...-Blu-ray/4025/

If so, It comes with basically every edition of the movie ever made, with the exception of the vhs and laserdisc if the made that.

The PQ of that versions Synet edition is no different then any other skynet edition.

How many of those six discs are DVDs and a digital copy?

If you're a fan, there's import releases with superior picture quality over the U.S. releases:

UK (cheap, extended cut, no extras)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Terminator-2...6245830&sr=1-3

Japan (theatrical and extended cuts, extras.... but expensive)

Yes It comes with every US Release of T2 that was made on Blu, DVD, and also a digital copy.

If It was a metal skull, I would consider Getting, but it is plastic.

I was looking at the skull the other day and it looks very cheap. I think it would be great to have but not for $120 maby $50.

Don't get anything that has that stupid Skynet startup screen (Definitely rule out the US "Skynet Edition"). It takes the PS3 (which is a fast loader) about 5 minutes before you can actually watch the movie. Plus, there's huge amounts of DNR and EE. I wouldn't mind selling you my Skynet edition if you want it.

Here's a nice comparison:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1073273

However...maybe it's just too late, but I'm having a hell of a time seeing ANY differences between any of the formats or editions....

I already own the normal and SE. I was just thinking about double dipping with this set (have been for awhile). I think I'm going to hold off though. All these multiple releases really start getting annoying. Just look at Salvation. BB skull case, Moto-Terminator set, T-600 skull case...I think there might even be more. When crap like that is made, I stick to the normal release. Even the YT vids don't impress.

I think if it takes forever to load its your player or your connection but then again i don't wanna scare people here but this title the uk one literally killed my 60gb ps3 and made it go YLOD.

I would if I was you. If you can stomach paying the money, the Japanese release is the way to go. The UK release is a nice too, just without extras and the theatrical cut.

Ouch. My launch is still going strong, and I use it at least once a day. I'll stay away from the UK one though. I assume it's Region Free?

I'm holding off an all existing versions of Terminator 2 until they do a proper remaster. If they've already done one for 1, 2 seems pretty likely to me

I thought some people were saying the UK PQ is better than Skynet edition, no?

Yeah, but I'm focused more on the US releases at the moment. Plus, the whole YLOD thing.

It takes a little long to load, but plays just fine on my 20GB, 80GB, and standalone.
