I went with North by Northwest but 12 Angry Men was a close second. Maybe we should do them all in the same month and have people discuss the ones they want to comment on?

Great job with this, Rom. I voted for 12 Angry Men, mainly because I love Sidney Lumet. Wouldn't be disappointed with any of the options as a final outcome, though

Steve, that's an interesting idea. For the first month though lets just do one and see how well it works out.

I chose 12 Angry Men, but any of the films would be an excellent choice.

i know, you're right, i'll freely admit that i've been WAY too "blu-focused" until recently, especially since you and squid told me to start watching hitchcock and was like "uh...ok...so i can't wait for all these to come out on blu!!!"

my vote is 12 angry men, i was actually just about to see it.... BTW, has anyone seen "twelve"--i heard it was a recent remake that was supposed to be quite good

It's been in my netflix queue for awhile. I've heard it's quite good as well. My reluctance in seeing it is two-fold: 1) the fact that 12 Angry Men is such a classic, I can't imagine a remake doing it justice (no pun intended); and 2) 12 Angry Men is meant to be "real time," and as such is only a little over an hour and a half. 12 is almost two and a half hours long, I believe.

Was initially torn between To Kill a Mockingbird and 12 Angry Men but voted for 12 Angry Men in the end! Nice list of films BTW (all worthy of discussion and consideration by those who might not have seen them).
