much thanks for the reply mate

i like the case more than the uk 1's too its just gonna look weird with my others.

i use my ps3 so cant play region a specific discs, plus theres no point importing the movies that are released here as they usually end up same price or more.

i just bought ATL,love the movie and its not released here, probably wont get a release here as its not too popular.

I love the UK cases, way better then the slim ones imo!
Think I got about 3-4 slim cases, rest is thick. Thick cases look better.

Amen, you can read what's on the spine if you have bad eyesight like me hehe.

Criterion cases are the same thickness as UK cases (and are not blue). Other than those, all Region A releases come in the thinner cases as far as I'm aware.

There are a couple Region B films that come in slim cases sometimes also.

I prefer the slimline cases as you can get more of them on your shelf.

I prefer the thicker cases. It's easier to read the spines, and they just feel a bit more substantial. Just personal preference I suppose.

How big are the slim ones? Can someone post a pic? I only have thick ones. I don't know why they don't just make every case slim, they don't need to be as big as they are.

Also prefer the thicker ones, as some have said the spines alot easier to read.
Plus they just feel better made and also look abit nicer on the shelf

Another fan of the thicker cases, I have a few slimline ones which are region B like Red Desert and Oldboy.

I buy empty amaray cases off ebay and use them instead. The US covers still look fine in a wider case.
