![]() ![]() Publisher: Sega Developer: Rebellion Platform: PC Genre: First-Person Shooter Players: Single-Player, Players Online Rating: ESRB M for Mature, PEGI 18+ Released on Blu-ray Disc : North America – Out Now| Europe – Out Now ![]() Overview : Developed at Rebellion by the team responsible for the original 1999 PC classic, the all-new Aliens vs. Predator allows players to take the role of three infamous species: Colonial Marines, Predators and Aliens. The game features a unique three-way online multiplayer experience, allowing gamers to battle for survival and the right to be crowned the deadliest species in the galaxy. Each race will also have its own distinct action-packed single-player campaign mode, with a storyline that cleverly interweaves with the other two species' paths. Set on planet BG-386; a human colonist mining group discovers an ancient pyramid containing a dark and horrible secret. Across the galaxy, a race of warriors is alerted to the discovery of their pyramid and a hunting party is dispatched to ensure that it remains sealed at all costs. Deep inside the ruined pyramid meanwhile, nature's deadliest species awakes from centuries of hibernation intent on finding new prey. General Features :
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Much improved over the console versions! I am completed the Marine campaign and the Predator Campaign. I am about 3 hours into the Alien Campaign. In my opinion the PC game is very good. I don't have any studdering issues or complaints about the interface. I am using Win7 64 bit. I do agree with the reviewers that the Alien campaign is the weakest. I do admit however that it does take a while to get used to the Alien controls. I also find the overall game play is linear for that species. I am REALLY enjoying the survival multiplayer mode. I played for about 3 hours straight last night and I only turned it off for the Canada vs Swiss game. Anyways I think if you are on the fence that this game is worth getting on the PC. My review would be 8/10. Pros : - Great feel for alien and predator world - Good story telling with Lance really adding to a spectacular atmosphere - Unique multiplayer with plenty of replay value Cons : - Alien campaign isn't as good as the other two - No Jump/crouch - No detailed multiplayer setup(but not a big deal just would be nice to have it) Anyone else playing it?!?!
