Default CREED: Live in Houston

Creed: Live Blu-ray

Just finished watching this concert on Palladia and it was advertised as "Out now on DVD and Blu Ray."

I have not heard or seen a thing.

I'm interested in this too but haven't heard a thing. Awesome avatar by the way! Showgirls on Blu! I wonder if that will ever happen. I'm actually in the minority that thought is was good and not camp.

I like some of Creed's music, but Scott Stapp is a douche.

Yeah, Stapp is pretty horrible in this performance. Kinda makes you cringe at times. Very unfortunate because I really enjoy their studio albums and the rest of the band are very good players.

FYI - The concert will air again on Palladia tomorrow (Saturday, March 6) if you want to check it out. I will DVR because I missed the first 20 minutes or so.

I saw some clips from this concert on Youtube. There had to be something wrong with what Stapp was hearing through his earpeace because his vocals were downright horrible. What a shame because the band was good, and the new album has some solid tracks on it, like "1000 Faces".

Where was the concert? I'm guessing either Mitchell Pavillion in The Woodlands or Verizon Center. I live in Houston and this is the first I've ever heard of a Blu-ray release of a Houston concert. I want to go to one!!!

I don't really care for Creed but something tells me they could put on a great show and sound great. Papa Roach is another band that would sound great on blu. I saw Papa Roach at Buzzfest 25 and I don't really like their music but they absolutely put every other band to shame in terms of live performance.

It is really odd that they have not released this in HD since they went to a lot of trouble and expense to record it in HD.

I remember Creed came around here last summer and they couldn't give away free tickets to get anyone to go to their show.

"their new crap??"

Why don't you listen before you start throwing that kind of stuff out there. I'm not the biggest Creed fan, although i do like them, and their new album KNOCKED me on my a**. It's very good, easily the best thing they've ever done.

Also, i didn't think he sounded bad at all on the DVD. It's "live", folks. Most of the concert DVD's you watch are cleaned up in the studio "afterward" to a very large extent and this one they didn't over-process after the fact.
The promo clip they released featured Stapp at his worst during that song. I don't know why they released that particular clip. He sounded much, much better on almost every song through the setlist.

Wonder when the blu-ray is coming? Strange because their sister band "Alter Bridge" also had a blu-ray up for pre-order for the longest time and then when it came to release day, it said bumped back, now not available. Weird.
