EDIT: ALLOW ME TO BE SPECIFIC. I AM REFERRING TO TELEVISION CHARACTER ACTORS. AND NOT PEOPLE WHO GET STARRING ROLES REGULARLY, I MEAN "GUEST APPEARANCES" KIND OF PEOPLE, WHO OCCASIONALLY MAY GET LARGE SUPPORTING ROLES.

NOT MOVIE ACTORS

We all have favorite character actors, who show up a lot as "guest star" roles, and perhaps even gets a role on a long running show.

Yeah but all of those are people who aren't on TV all the time, and most of them just do movies.

Absolutely first in my mind of tv character actors, I loved his work on Deadwood and Life the most, and he was the only reason I even watched TSCC. I really wish he would get his own show.........





I also love Dayton Callie also of Deadwood, as well as John from Cincinnati and currently Sons of Anarchy

What about Johnny Depp? He has played several characters. Ns they are usually kind of strange from Edward Scissorhands, to Captain Jack Sparrow to the upcoming character in Alice in Wonderland. There are many more but Im buzzing and cant think straight right now.
