Default Why was this game never made?

Between 1984 - 1990, I cannot believe that no major gaming company did not produce an arcade version of one of the hottest toy lines of the 80s. Transformers.

Obviously it would have had to have been sprite driven graphics, but how hard would it have been to see a sprite 'transform' from robot mode to vehicle mode

Why didnt capcom or Taito or who ever do this

The only hasbro related game that I can think of was that crappy G.I Joe game, that also imho could have been soooo much better.

There were at least two Transformers games released on the C64. One was a sprite-based arcade game and the other was a shooter.
