Default Iron Man: Armored adventure Thread

I could not find a thread for this animation show. I thought there was one but couldn't find one through the search engine.

Anyways, those who actually like this show will be happy to know that it has been renewed for a new season. I actually like the show but was upset with how the blu release was only a partial release. I'm hoping they do a complete Season 1 release.

Tony Stark is younger than normal in this version, correct? I have not really checked it out. What channel broadcasts it?

NickToons broadcasts it. Not sure what channel that is for you but it is the same channel that broadcasts "Wolverine and the X-MEN".

Default Season 2: Iron man Armored Adventure coming

Well, if you thought this show was done and gone after season 1 (I know I did) it is coming back. Starting next week Wednesday, July 13...Season 2 will be comin' at you 8:30pm ET (5:30pm PT). I actually enjoyed season 1 and was bummed when it looked like it wasn't coming back.

I have "discovered" this show on Netflix, not thinking too much of it (given the generally poor treatment of Iron Man until now in animation) .. and ... it is an excellent show imo! (it's weird at first to have a Teenager Tony Stark but I went past that fairly rapidly. The modernization of classic vilains is good, and animation/ GFX are excellent).

I was really surprised, and my 2 and 1/2 year old son is already addicted. I use him as an excuse to watch episodes on Netflix as often as possible

The Mandarin

Whiplash

Crimson Dynamo

Living Laser

The Unicorn

Blizzard

Yeah...the way season 1 ended with kind of a cliff hanger, I was all ready for season 2 but there was never any announcement of a season 2 or even a show cancellation (at least I don't remember seeing one) until now. I'm excited.

It looks like the new season has already started. New shows every Wednesday at 8:30pm on Nicktoons.

Seems noticeably darker than season 1 for now. Tony seems to have this rear end consistently handed to him, hence the need for constant War Machine involvement. Wonder what was the point of the Mark II?
Now, with the Armor Wars around the corner, time to tech up

Very good beginning so far for season 2 imo.

Maaaannnnnn.....

I watched this for a few minutes today, and, until I saw the Tony Stark character, I was hoping I just had the wrong channel on.

No such luck.

What do people see in anime, anyway? I mean... the style is so herky-jerky.... it detracts so much from the progress of the story. Why would Marvel ever want to emulate that horrible style?!? New market in anime fans, I guess.....

Oh well.

Are you referring to the Iron man anime? If so, that is a different show than this one.

Anyone has any clue about when the next episodes will be on?

The show stopped brutally after ep 7, and can't find anything about this break and when the series is supposed to return (the 2nd season should be a full 22 ep one).

As far as I can tell, the last episode shown was on August 25th (ep 7, Titanium vs Iron)

edit: nothing on imdb past that (they generally have several episodes ahead with scheduling), and on TV Guide they do not see any listing for it for the next two weeks+.

New episodes have resumed (for how long, who knows).

So far, 2 episodes shown, 2099 (out of order - it should have been shown before "Control Alt Delete", which was itself shown on April 4th.

Last was shown "Doomsday", which brought forth a major update
[Show spoiler] Now Tony has been reunited with his father, who apparently still doesn't know -yet- that Tony is Iron Man, and that his company has been taken over by Hammer. Also, Gene now has 9 rings.

The next episodes are scheduled for June 20th (The Hammer Falls), and June 28th (Rage of the Hulk).

New episodes started back in March I believe. I thought Disney had the series cancelled (like Wolverine and the X-MEN and the other Spiderman show) but I guess they did not. The show was still set to record on my DVR and to my surprise I saw new episodes back in March. The show has been pretty good.

The show has officially been cancelled due to the sale of Marvel to Disney. Better snap up those few remaining copies of Season 1, Volume 1 on Blu if you liked the show.

Was there an official announcement? I ask because I was still getting new show recordings late last year.

There wasn't an official announcement in any sense that it came straight from NickToons or Marvel Entertainment, but those involved with the show stated very plainly that it had been cancelled last Summer and it's been confirmed that DisneyXD is getting an Iron Man show. Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is also dead and is being replaced by "Avengers Assemble!" I don't think any of these new Disney-fied shows are going to appeal to the adult fanbase like EMH did but we won't know until we see the pre-show stuff.
