I think this Gene Hackman movie is due for a new high definition transfer on blu-ray. I just finished watching the Artisan DVD and it looks pretty terrible. Most likely Lionsgate owns the rights since they bought Artisan.

This is a dead thread, but I'd love to see Kino pick this one up. One of Hackman's best.

I absolutely loved this train mystery thriller as a teenager. Loved the twists and turns and the overall train setting. I would definitely buy this.

Studio Canal own the Euro rights, I believe. I have the DVD and it looks good, a BD would be even better.

I discovered this movie earlier this year. Surfing around on the TV channels, I stumbled upon it in passing. I'm always fascinated by train movies and this one looked good. Surprised that it wasn't on Blu-ray, I located a DVD to see the film. It was quite enjoyable and would look ever-so-much better on a properly mastered Blu-ray.

This definitely needs a Blu Ray, really underrated movie. Hyams could do a great commentary for it.

Given that there's not even a digital HD version of this anywhere AFAIK it's likely that there's not even a HD master for this yet. Sadly.
