I have polk monitor 60s for my front l/r and a cs2 for the center. Currently, I have some onkyo 6ohm HTiB speakers for my rears. I want to upgrade those, but they have to go on stands.
My current speaker stands are some cheap atlantic. Like these http://www.amazon.com/Atlantic-Satel...8163442&sr=1-1 Will the monitor 40s be too big for these? I think they will be, because newegg says they weigh 16lbs. I know my cs2 weighs 17lbs, and I don't see the stands holding that. My next option is the monitor 30s. I think these will work okay for the rear speakers, but I don't want to be missing out because of my stand limit. Are there any others I should look at? The main reason I am looking at polk is the cheap price. |
