Default Shortstack31489's Bedroom theater

Here is my very modest bedroom setup. I am only 20 yrs old so bear with me, this is definitely not like most of the dedicated rooms on this website. I have it in the bedroom because I still live at home while I am in college. I am constantly upgrading and swapping thigs out. Leave me some feedback.

Very nice!

I would recommend that you try pulling the front sound stage forward a bit. You are probably getting refelcetions from the center placement. Dialog may open up a lot if you pull it to the fron t edge of the cabinet. Also, if you pull the front L/R's even with the edge, you may eliminate and reflections you are getting from the cabinet.

Heck of a room for a 20 yr. old's bedroom setup!!

+1. On those recommendations. Impressive setup for your age. Reminds me of my bedroom setup back then. Except I had a dlp and klipsch towers. Rated/comment in your gallery. Feel free to check my bedroom setup out. I'm constantly upgrading mine also.

That is a great set-up really....better than some living room ones I have seen. How do you like the Emotiva sound? I think you did a great job and I further recommend moving the speakers as Hammie stated....it could open them up and provide you with better imaging and less reflections. But a great bedroom set-up nontheless.

Yea i will definitely move them and give it a shot. I am always up for some helpful suggestions. The emotiva lives up to the hype, it really opened up the MA's.

You really have no reason to be modest, that is a great setup and some very nice equipment. When I was 20 and in college I had a one bedroom apartment and my system consited of two camping chairs, 22" CRT TV that sometimes would turn black and white and a top loading VCR. And no, that is not a testament to my age, I'm only 29.

Ah...i've had similar setups also. The klipsch/rear dlp tv I had was when I was 23/24. The crappy furniture and crt sets was what it was like before then. You've come a long way my fellow 29 year old.

Your System and Set-Up is one of the Finest,I have ever known someone your age to assemble.

You are Very Knowledgeable about your Equipment. As you selected and assembled some of the Finest Gear there is.

The Monitor Audio Speakers are Outstanding Performers, with lines and a look that resemble Art. Then completeing the Full Range sound by choosing a SVS Sub was brilliant.

Deep Bass thats tight and clear.Great Detail and Imaging. As well as the Surrounds you have. The Bipolar SoundField should emmerse your entire room with the feeling of being in the Movie or in the Music.

And your components are some Outstanding performers. The Emotiva Amp powering those Monitor Audio Speakers, should provide a sound with Great Clarity,Detail,Depth, and Sound Staging.

Your System from Top to Bottom is one to be Very Proud of.And one that can last a long time, still providing top Quality performance.Or adding a new piece here or an upgrade there.

You have the Foundation to develop one of the Finest Home Theater and Audio Systems, there are, period.

I Love the Pics in your Gallery. The Views and angles of the images provide a Great Perspective on your Gear.

Its like looking at a display of Modern Art.Flowing Lines that many of us can simply Dream of having.

Again,Great Selections and a Great Over-All Set-Up.
Enjoy your time enjoying your Movies and Music.
