I recently purchased and added an extra amp for my receiver. I have it setup using it as a 3 ch (L+R+C) and using the rear surr speakers from the main receiver. Now...my front L+R speakers are the boston acoustics VR970 which have powered subs inside. I have these two powered subs running from the sub output from the main receiver. However, when I have upgraded to a new amp the bass is stronger but wait...this is what I dont understand....how can I have better bass when its being connected from the main receiver not the amp? Isnt the amp is just amping the tweeters and the mids not the woofers and plus the center speaker.
Anyways the sound is amazing...better clarity...just the bass is what gets me. |
