Robots, Garfield the Movie and Garfield 2 in blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

I learned that Robots, Garfield the Movie and Garfield 2 will be released in blu-ray format in Hong Kong shortly in a week's time or more. Does anybody know there are similar release in other places or these are only special exclusive release in Hong Kong only? Sound weird for such sudden release without any notice.

Nope, quite a few European countries are getting those too I believe. Not sure which ones, the only ones I can confirm are The Netherlands and Belgium. France and Germany will probably get them too after a while.

I remember a couple years ago when I worked at best buy Robots dvd was demo material on the samsung dlp projection tvs I couldn't afford. Now i'd like to see how it looks on blu on my panasonic plasma.. even tho i could care less about the movie/plot

I look forward to watching the Garfield movies with my grandkids. The voice of Bill Murray was a perfect match for Garfield's character.

I just saw this thread and preordered Garfied 1 & 2 from DDDHouse.com cost a total of $418 Hong Kong dollars which if my math is correct breaks out to $53.88 USD which is the cheapest place I've found yet.

You are right. Once this DVD is an outstanding demo disc and I think this movie will look great in blu-ray format. Highly anticipating this release!

Murray was good as Garfield, but the late Lorenzo Music (also the heard but never seen Carlton the doorman on the 70's show "Rhoda") will always be the definative Garfield IMO!
