anyone have the above TV? looking to buy it in the very near future, what does everyone think?

Are you talking about the Samsung UN55B6000 LED LCD TV. I've got this set and I love it. Yeah, it's edge-lit instead of local dimming and light seeps in from the corners on really dark scenes, but I'm not hung up on it. I think you could do a lot worse than this set.

I just got this tv also(un55b6000). Great pic. the only thing is the sides are bright in a dark room. Its starting to bother me now. I dont know if i should take back if so for what..... i like the tv.My max towards a tv is 2300.00. Any ideas mybee my settings my backlight at 7 idk....or a diffrent tv!

I spent a lot of time making adjustments to my settings and I think I've got my set to where I want it.

Blu-rob77, have you checked out any online forums for advice on settings? I've checked tweak.com and the AVS forum and had mixed results. You can also adjust your settings using a Pixar Blu-Ray. Good luck!
