Psycho coming soon?! BBFC ratings. - Blu-ray Forum

The BBFC have just rated three features for Psycho, now I doubt that we would be getting another DVD re-release so is the Blu-Ray finally coming?

IN THE MASTER'S SHADOW - HITCHCOCK'S LEGACY [Additional material, Psycho] - 25m 55s
PSYCHO [Additional material, audio commentary] - 108m 40s
PSYCHO [Additional material, HITCHCOCK/TRUFFAUT] - 15m 18s

All were rated on 11th March 2010.

And a trailer:

PSYCHO - 0m 38s

Rated on 2nd March 2010.

And BBFC listings often (but not always) specify "BLU-RAY" if it's a classification for a BD release.

There's a Dutch release coming too (apparently), and it would be a bit more likely to have a release elsewhere, so hopefully this will be released (and look and sound good, too).

Last I read the Dutch arm of Universal removed the info regarding that release from their web site.

Knowing this, it feels like this release was originally planned for BD but is now going DVD-only instead. Perhaps Universal America is not ready with their master or extras and wants to delay any foreign releases until they can have the domestic release ready?

My feeling is that this will be a DVD release, similar to, if not exactly replicating, the R1 Universal Legacy Series SE of '08.

You must be right. I'm sure there was a press release too, but I can't find it anymore.

This up for pre-order at play and hmv, there is also a steelbook for this coming.
