Shinjuku Incident (2009; Yee Tung-Shing) starring Jackie Chan - Blu-ray Forum

So I just ordered this after Juan posted that Sony would not be releasing a BD in the USA. I had actually never heard of it prior to that, but the idea of Jackie Chan in a dramatic role in what looks to be a graphic film was so intriguing that I had to blind buy ASAP. I read pro bassoonist's review of both this edition and the HK edition, but I wonder, does anybody else have the UK disc yet? What do you think of the A/V presentation?

Also, it was a relief to see that Showbox also release titles NOT handled by Dragon Dynasty in the USA.

I'm waiting for it to tumble in price, Showbox take the piss with their new releases.

I watched this today on my HTPC and was wondering if anybody noticed any pixelation on their copy. It happens for a brief second at 1:47:50. Does this happen on the standalone players? Would appreciate it if I get a reply.

BTW, this is the UK edition I'm talking about.

Could be HTPC related only, like the glitching on Flashpoint. I don't have the disc to check, unfortunately.

Didn't notice it on first viewing, but I'll check again tomorrow.

What I did notice were some crushed black levels, especially in the ninja scenes at night.

15 years later reply I know but mine doesn't glitch at that point

mine doesn't ether then i've not watched in two years so it might do it if it did i didn't notice it.
