Default Timeshift

Thought we already had a thread for this but search came up with no results..

August 8th screenshots

Looking very sharp, lots of environment destruction in this game, watch Gamespot's E3 coverage for plenty of gameplay footage.

I just played the demo today and I thought this game would be awesome. I pretty much ran through the demo easily even though the tactical map on the hud sux and the environment is sloppy. I know it's part of the game, but I don't have to like it. Overall disappointed but I know if I buy it, I won't be able to put it down. I never like the first parts of any games.

I am disappointed too.. this game kind blows judging by the demo. The concept is cool though (and the video is nice). The graphics are kinda scratchy.. it is hard to see what is going on. The controls suck. Guns in the demo are rehash from other games. They have the main shoot buttons on L2 and R2. Just about every other major FPS on the PS3 has R1/L1 as shooters. The back buttons on the PS3 controller suck hard for shooting they are only good for secondary things imo. It looks like you can't change this either. I really for some reason just can't use R2 for shooting.. but maybe that is just me . It does not feel smooth/natural.

In the midst of COD4 and Halo I can't imagine this selling very well. It seems mediocre. Maybe a rental after Holidays.

It's definitely not the greatest demo I played. I did like pausing time and stealing enemy weapons though. And then they are all like "WTH!?" lol That was the one point of the demo I was like "Oh COOL"....but the rest was like a rip on Half-Life 2.

I really wish there was an option to turn off that damn rain. THAT is what is messing with the visibility throughout the demo. I realize they were trying to trown in a cool rain effect when slowing or stopping time, but hey, i get it. It shouldnt be so obtrusive.

The new demo includes both the offline demo we've already had and online multiplayer.

Also I'm not sure if the first demo had rumble support but this certainly does.

Nope, but I have difficulty joining online games other people have started. I made my own and had no trouble. I have NAT type 2 and haven't had any problems with any other online games on any system.

Yeah, just uninstall the first single player demo that came out earlier, then the install for the multiplayer should work. I had the same issue.

I guess it's something to do with both demos having the same name then.
