I have a 32 inch LG HDTV 720, just wondering if the 720 TVS make the blu ray look just as good? I heard that you cant notice a diff from 720 to 1080p on a smaller 32 inch right?
should i stick with my 720p? its for my room. (room size tv) |

Good luck seeing a diff. I have a 32'' panisonic LCD 720p/1080i the picture is perfect in BLU-RAY. My 50'' panny plazy 1080p has a perfect picture but that 32'' panny LCD is just as good. now samsung makes a 1080p 32'' & friend of mine bought it so we did so testing and we could not tell even the slitest improvment in the 1080p . he returned it & saved 450.00 bucks & got a 720p/1080i HDTV. some say you dont see the hole 1080p/720p,1080i till you get to 50'' 60''... But there are so many variables that play a role. my 32'' is an 12-0-06 model but it had the best specs at the time 3000.1 contrast ratio has very high & prob still is for a 32'' and i got it cheap 850.00 new! much better pic then the sonys peaple hate that cause its a panny!! And I love my PS3!!!! stick with it dont waist your $$$ save that for a 50''60'' 1080p 120ghz 24fp hehehehehehe!!!!!!!!!!

I've been playing Blu-rays on this setup for three months:
Philips BDP9000 player Mitsubishi HC3000 720p/1080i projector Panoview Gray Wolf II 106" screen The picture looks unbelievable in 1080i. Trust me, you do not need a 1080p display to enjoy Blu-rays to the fullest extent. Just imagine if my 1080i picture looks this good on a 106" screen, how good yours would look on a good 32" 720p/1080i lcd tv. |

My 60" Sony set is native 768ish
![]() It takes both a 720p and a 1080i input, so I have a choice between upscaling the 720p input, or downscaling 1080i... both look great, knocking the stuffing out of SD, and the BD PQ crushes upscaled DVD PQ so bad it isn't even close. Yes, the BD will look great in 720p |

upon how close you sit (within 32" of the screen is 2x screen height unless the imagery is 2.39:1 then you need to sit even closer)
and how good your eyesight is (is it 20/20 at least?) if so, then you should notice a difference between 720p and 1080p on a 32" set. However... If you typically sit 5 or 6 feet away or have 20/40 or worse eyesight even with corrective lenses then you most like will not see a difference between 720p and 1080p. |

1080p with a 32" HDTV? Forget it. It's not worth the hassle and money.
