Hey guys, I have a couple questions for people who have experience with the buttkickers. I just bought the LFE kit off amazon, should be here today. Now I have theater recliner seats from kmart. http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_1...heater+seating
My question is about the isolators. I have two chairs in the back on a platform I just built, and 3 in front. Im puttin the buttkicker on the 2 chairs in the back. Now I thought about putting the buttkicker in the platform, but was unsure about how well I would feel it and how it would affect the platform, I mean, its built pretty solid, but there are a few creeks. So then I was thinking about puttin the buttkicker under one of the legs, but they say use the isolators for the other legs. And it looks like you have to drill the isolators in the legs? Well Im not sure if that would work, so I was wondering, would it still feel good if i didnt use them, or could i just place them under the legs without drilling them in? Thanks a lot. Any suggestions are much appreciated. |

If put onto a carpet, I doubt they would vibrate from out under the legs. On tile or hardwood floors, this may be different.
