What do you love/hate about Blu-ray and/or HD DVD?

I wanted to start an interesting thread where you can bash or state what you love about either format. So let the smackdown begin!!!

For the record Im Blu for life!!! And i love Blu for clarity , Studio support, and its storagee space.

Why i hate Hd DUD: cause i just dont see it lastin buddy. And cause i jsut do lol

What I love about Blu-ray? AVC, Uncompressed PCM, Studio Support, PS3!

What I hate about Blu-ray? No BD-Java yet, MPEG-2 (I COULD KILL OVER THIS ONE!!!), No Universal Studios... yet!

I like every aspect of blu ray over hd dud, but however theres quite a few universal movies on hd dud, but not enough to dish out the money to buy a format thats losing horribly. God I want my children of men on blu......

What I love about Blu-ray is close to everything. The only things that i dont love are fixable in the near future, 1.) lack of support from universal, 2.) lack of support from some of the blu-ray exclusive studios.

I hope most people out there are by now, I dont see why anyone would be picking up hd dud players unless its done out of complete stupidity of not doing their research.

Like Blu Ray: Disc space, aq, disc durability, PS3
Dislike about BD: interactivity and extras, mpeg-2, crappy selection
Like HD: better selection, interactivity, more consistent pq, non-Universal movie aq.
Dislike HD: although they really do have as many movies out, lack of studio support.

I haven't seen any good reasons for disliking HD other than 'it's still around'. What about it makes you not want it to be around other than your loyalty to Blu-ray?

What I like about Blu-ray: 50GB space, hardcoating on discs, studio support, more players
What I don't like about Blu-ray: the tiniest scratch can kill my disc, and Blu-ray discs can't be repaired, more expensive players

What I like about HD DVD: less expensive players, good titles like the Bourne series, Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, region free, scratched discs can be fixed
What I don't like about HD DVD: no FOX and Disney titles, only Toshiba HD DVD players (until Onkyo this fall I guess), no hardcoat

I prefer Blu-ray because more studios are currently supporting it, and I love PCM!!!!

lol spider-man 3 price lol but with the google check out it will be alright so NOTHING about blu-ray lol and I love the cases / logo!
