Default Freddy Vs. Jason Blu-ray aspect ratio and bonus features question

On the Freddy vs. Jason standard Dvd that I have the Aspect Ratio is 2.35:1 and I noticed for the Blu-ray it's 2.40:1. Does this mean that compared to the standard Dvd that Blu-ray has a little more of the picture on the left and right or does it mean that the Blu-ray cuts off a little of the picture on the top and bottom?

Also for anyone who has both the standard Dvd and Blu-ray, does the Blu-ray have all the bonus features from the standard Dvd? If it does not what all is missing?

Simply put...

2.35:1 and 2.40:1 are essentially the same AR. Its just how the math/ratios are explained by the studios.

Both the BD and the DVD are in the same AR with no changes to either.

As for the extras:

DVD-Rom content is obviously missing but not a big loss. Also missing are the "Jump To A Death" scene selection and "bonus trailers" but again, this is not a deal breaker.

The BD contains the meatiest portions of extras and drops the less necessary features.
