Default A very conservative (for Blu-ray) look at the top 50 box office

Here's a little chart based on the sales of 300 and the proportions.
Now I know films like Wild hogs may not sell as well in relation to domestic box office as 300 did on Blu-ray, but also because Spider-man 3 will only be on Blu-ray the ration per box office may be higher.
This is based on first week's sales of "300"
$210,615,000 into 163,000 Blu-ray discs and 87,000 HD DVD discs.
(Blu-ray = Box office / 1292)
(HD DVD = Box office / 2420)

HD DVD - $2,676,246,707 = 1,105,887 discs in first week sales

That's about a 3:1 ratio, so I think that's the absolute MINIMUM we can expect through Q4/07 as no doubt Pirates, Spidey, etc., will see well for several weeks.
