Avatar Midnight Release At WalMart! - Blu-ray Forum

I Just saw today in my Walmart in Kenner,LA that they are doing a midnight release on Wednesday night. If you know of any other places doing the same or earlier, feel free to post them here to help people find it a little earlier if they want it!

The Moviestop in my area is doing a Wed. @ Midnight relase party, i got mine reserved for $5.

Since my Walmart is 24/7 (Supercenter), and they've had multiple midnight releases in the past (New Moon was the last one), I assume it'll be the same thing with Avatar. But I've heard it might be showing up on Tuesday.

Screw WM and their Midnight releases.

They screw it up every time.

I think it's more logical for me to buy the movie on my lunch break Thursday.

Hastings is also having midnight release parties per their weekly ad.

..yup..the last time I went to one they didn't even know about it and had to call corporate lol. What is the price?

Yeah so I'm pretty much done with WM and their BD's. They had TF2 advertisements, yet they only had DVD's and couldn't find the BD's in the back when a few of us were waiting. They had to take our #, but instead I went to another WM. Waste of my time.

Their associates and their managers have no idea about their products. So I don't do midnight releases anymore.

don't know if i could bring myself to going to wal-mart @ midnight for a movie.......i've been in wal-mart @ midnight and after and there are some crazies walking around!!!! customers too!!!

i'll probably swing through on my way to work and pick it up though.

Best way to do it. That will ensure that they have it ready for sale 8 hours later.
