Fringe's season 2 finale is this thursday, and I felt it was time for a season 3thread. Season 3 will air thursdays at nine on fox starting in september!

It's hard to speculate about season 3 until we know how season 2 ends.

I suspect the reason Olivia is in the strange cell is that the cell has some type of protection against inter-universe travel. At some point she will probably be removed from the cell and will be able to travel back to our universe. Then she and Walter will work out a way to send Oliviate back. Hopefully this will be accomplished in the first or second episode.

Agreed. Olivia in captivity needs to unleash her gift and spontaneously pop up back in regular-verse. Then the 2 Olivias here can duke it out and kill off "Oliviate." Maybe in the 1st 2-3 episodes???

I think so too. No way Oliviate can last long on our side pretending to be the real one, even w/o that tattoo.
And it would be nice to see Olivia start using her power(s) and become confident with them.

I'm wondering how the entire series is gonna go. Are they going to have the other uni storyline throughout the entire run?

In the short term I don't see how they can have the Olivias switched for very long.

No. I don't want a mega thread. They're split for a reason. The threads are seasonal. For a reason. Like I said. NO MERGING.

I don't understand that though, because if you didn't want people to be discussing what was going to happen at the end of Season 2 which will directly correlate with Season 3 than why did you create the thread before the season 2 finale aired? The discussion of the finale in two different threads was inevitable. That's why I am a fan of series threads not individual seasons because everybody will always reference the past seasons when discussing events, so seasonal threads make no sense to me, especially 4 months ahead of time.

Yes, but this thread makes it known that there are spoilers for the previous seasons, openly and unapologetically. Also, I have OCD where these things have to be numbered. So it's season 3. And it's staying that way.
