JB Hi-Fi have announced an exclusive SteelBook for The Wolfman.

Set for official release 10 June 2010, JB Hi-Fi have released the item for sale from June 7.

This is Universal's first foray into SteelBook in Australia. Please note that the artwork is all sticker based.

Trivia: The cardboard sleeve features a DVD logo on the spine. Whether that will change if there are further runs is anyone's guess but it's an error that may add some value if corrected.

What is one man's Gold is another man's junk

Since the UK is getting a SteelBook with similiar art, I imagine its the same case run . Amazon version would be cheaper so I will have to go that route

Without the ratings logo (unlike the UK) and the steel border which ties in with the cane head featured in the art, I find this one far superior to the UK release. The only downside is that the art itself is a sticker. A shame, but still it looks very effective.

Wow. Awesome Steel. Don't mind the stickers. Wasn't a fan of this when I saw it at the movies, but I'm tempted to pick it up only for the SB! I'll definitely give it a rent though as I want to check out the DC. For someone who didn't like the theatrical version, is the DC at all an improvement?

Yep, I thought the directors cut was much better, BUT if you didn't like the theatrical cut I don't think the directors cut will change your mind.

But no rating logo which is a plus, if only the bests of the uk and aus release where combined I would be happier. But then again when i put on the film I cant stop

Sticker Steelbooks I would have no further, mainly because the UK looks more beautiful ...

The steel borders and extra text are far more distracting that the UK logos. The front of the UK version is far more elegant.

Props for having proper back cover artwork, though.

hmm... I'm not sure about this one. I think it will look live much better than on the photos. With the metal frame it has a bit of Terminator 2 JP

It is blu ray sized. I really like the design, but the sticker aspect I don't like.
