Default Can I burn media to a DVD using my PS3?

I loaded some home video footage from my Sony Camcorder to my PS3 and now I want to burn it to a DVD. I put a blank DVD in and nothing magical happens.

The PS3 does not come equipped with burning capabilities.

If you want to burn video to a DVD/Blu-ray/CD/HD-DVD disc(s) you will have to buy the appropriate burner for you computer.

You can get a DVD burner for a little as $35

You'd just get the video files to your computer (probably similar to how you got them onto your PS3), then you'd simply use a program to burn a Video-DVD.
(Nero is a great series of programs)
