Awesome! This is one of my favourite natural disaster movies...can't wait to see and hear what it will be like on Blu :-)

Hey Brad, yes it is regeion free, i got the movie a couple of days ago and it has on the back A,B & C

Thanks. That does suck no features. The HD DVD carried over all the supplements from the Laserdisc and DVD.

I've still got the 2 disc Special Edition dvd so i'll just keep that for the special features haha

It's also ready to go Blu in France starting september, 1st:

Yes it is. Just watched it yesterday, the picture i would give 3 out of 5. The sound was awesome tho! The sub got a major workout..definitely give it 5 out of 5.

The HD DVD had all of the carryover extras from the DVD.

How's the video quality??

The HD DVD has some edge enhancement and abnormal contrast level. It look like it was pulled from an old HD master originally for a DVD release like many of the Universal HD DVDs and Blu-rays.
