way OT, but just a heads up

[Show spoiler]For example (to US or CA)

1 Steel = 6,85€ (without tracking/Airmail)
2 Steels= 10,75€ (without tracking/Airmail)
3 Steels= 17,85€ (without tracking/Airmail)
3 Steels= 18,21€ (with tracking/Airmail)
7-8 Steels= 18,21€ (with tracking/Airmail) up to 2 kilo
and than each aditional kilo (4-5 Steels) will cost 3,5€ added.

DTM is a good seller, takes a bit of time to get things shipped, but they come in the end.

Hey Kynch. How do they ship (box, cardboard fold-over, or padded envelope)? If you order a single for example. Thanks.

Hmm, I don't remember. I think they sent in a tight cardboard envelope, like Play.com, except sturdier. But I might be mistaking it with MovieHouse.ch. All I know is that The Da Vinci Code came in perfect condition.

http://uncut.ch/seite.cfm?rub=total+recall
(3rd Entry on the Left side)
Listed on Uncut.ch now. 29 euros + shipping. They ship in a slightly sturdier Amazon-like package. I used them twice with no problems. Just another alternative. They charge your CC immediately.

Uncut and Moviehouse are the same site.

Another option with less shipping costs (7 Euro) would be this:
http://www.ofdb.de/view.php?page=fas...=156&vid=22699
But you need some German basics to order.

I'm interested in somehow acquiring the uncut steelbook. All of the websites mentioned here either don't ship to my country (Israel) at all, or only allow to pay by money order, which doesn't sound secure enough to me. The only website I could find that allows me to pay by credit card and ships to my country was Medienversand, based in Austria. There is a slight problem, though...they want more than €30 for the shipping alone. Does anyone know of any other Austrian/Swiss vendor that ships worldwide and takes credit cards?

[I know trade requests aren't allowed here, and this isn't meant to be one...I'm just asking the experts here whether they know of anything that Google may have missed.]

It's too bad that these guys won't ship to you. They're pretty good.

AFAIK it's not legal for Germans to mail order any stuff on list 'B'. Serious trouble can arise should the customs open the package. So Vee Tschörmens still have to go to those adult shops and ask for the under-the-counter stuff in person. Brave new world.

Cheers,
- Don [:-], who didn't find the English subtitling in the listing. Could that be true? Or even worse: will they force us to watch the English version with non-off-switchable™ German undertitling, as they've done before?

On the first page, someone says that this is limited to 5000 copies, but if there are 2 versions, cut and uncut, do we think that will be 5000 of each or between the two?

Here is the news post translated, The information is based off member information so who knows
Quote:
05.03.10Paul Verhoeven's sci-fi action film "Total Recall - Total Recall"(USA 1990), with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone in the lead roles, is already the end of 2008 on Blu-ray Disc available since. Just in time for the 20th Anniversary of the movie Home Entertainment in June 2010 a new edition to the market to bring world cinema ( we reported ). But since we have just one start in March 2010, is at present only finds that the film in two different film versions will be revisited at Jubilee. Considering the usual approach of world cinema, then the official information on the Blu-ray releases in June until early April 2010 to be available.
AD

The user Kuro77 , a member of bluray-disc.de community has, yet curiosity in world cinema, and requested information could bring first-class experience in which he would like to share this place with us now. And he confirmed cinema world that "- Total Recall" in the Jubilee Edition Steelbook on Blu-ray Disc will be released Total Recall. In Germany, this edition will be limited copies, numbered 5000, however, not be on. The film has been completely remastered for the new release and is also a 25-minute documentary about the special effects are also set.
Upon request, our editors we could Kinowelt details for "Total Recall - Anniversary Edition" confirm this. For more information, but unfortunately we could not call this time at. Details, such as the possibility of circumventing the FSK logos on the Steel Books are at the moment in cinema world discussed internally and are not yet fixed. We of course remain on the ball and report timely, as it gives new information. At this point we would like to sincerely Kuro77 the extremely useful thanks for the help, which at present makes this news is. (Pf)

Thanks for the link. I've cancelled my Amazon.de order and pre-ordered the uncut version from these guys.

Mid-June can't come quick enough. Red Sonja, Raw Deal and now Total Recall.

See you at the party, people!
