The Deer Hunter, followed by Pulp Fiction, Sleepy Hollow, and Catch Me If You Can.

Technically, my answer would be PULP FICTION, but it's not a fair vote since his divine moment in the film is all but a cameo. In terms of a true Christopher Walken film, one wherein he is a major character, he is both heartbreaking yet creepy, kind yet frightening, genteel yet cursed in THE DEAD ZONE...he's never shown such range again (though he elevates even the most puerile movie every time, of course).

For the same reasons, I will avoid saying True Romance, even though when I think Christopher Walken, I think of his delivery of lines in that True Romance scene with the late Dennis Hopper.

I agree with you on both films. It's a shame that he hasn't had many starring vehicles after The Dead Zone.

Easily The Deer Hunter. The best film on the list and his best performance.

I put Pulp Fiction because it was my favorite movie on the list. I don't know if I'd say it was my favorite performance of his.

Can I vote for the More Cowbell SNL skit?

Might as well say all of his SNL skits. He was one of the best hosts on there. Him and Alec Baldwin. Got to love The Continental
