Anyone seen this show? Unfortunately it only got one season (shut up Wyldeman), but it was fantastic. It aired on USA and was the complete antithesis of the current USA shows. While the newer shows such as Burn Notice, Royal Pains, Psych, etc are breezy and bright colored shows, this was a dark and at times creepy show.
Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice) stars as Detective David Creegan (of a Serial Crimes division in San Francisco) who is shot while investigating a house, and is dead for ten minutes and comes back to life. When he comes back the aspect of his brain that deals with shame and impulse control is compromised and he acts out and basically is acting without a filter, thus doing things that most rational thinking people (much less police) would not do. Started watching this again, and an interesting sidenote, in the pilot episode there are three actors who were in Lost. Kevin Durand (aka Keamy) is an agent who's kinda ...off, and he does the tech type stuff. Zeljko Ivanek (aka Edmund Burke, Juliet's a-hole ex husband) is a suspect in a child kidnapping in the pilot. Brett Cullen (aka Goodwin) is an agent as well. Also Bradley Cooper is one of the agents starting in (I believe) Episode 3 or 4. Great cast including Vera Farmiga, Zach Grenier and Pruitt Taylor Vince. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
