ALIENS in HD on Netflix instant streaming! - Blu-ray Forum

This post may have to be moved, but ALIENS is now on NetFlix Instant Streaming. Oh, and it's in HD. It looks okay... Grain is intact... Looks quite sharp... Possibly a transfer from the Digital-VHS version? I dunno... Anyway....I still hope FOX does a remaster from the original negative for the Blu-Ray version.....

Hell yes. I still haven't seen this, but loved the heck out of the first. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some movie viewing to get done.

why cant i find this? i found Aliens but its definitely not streaming in HD

it doesnt even have the little HD icon at the bottom which would be there if its available in HD whether its streaming in HD at the moment or not.

The video quality is a tad below DVD due to tons of compression artifacts throughout the movie, and I'm not talking about the grain. I can foresee a promising transfer however when the boxset is finally released. Let's hope they get it right the first time around.
