Default The Fall Guy (2024)

Quote:
The Fall Guy is the next '80s television show in line to receive the A-Team film treatment.

The Los Angeles Times are reporting that DreamWorks and producer Walter F. Parkes (Catch Me If You Can) are planning to reboot the 1981 action television series, The Fall Guy, starring Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man).

Majors played Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a bounty hunter. The show ran for five seasons on ABC before its cancellation in 1986.

Thats a shame because it's a fun show. I purchased the first season from Amazon awhile back but unfortunately i don't think the rest are released.

I never saw them...many of these early 80's shows did not sell well on DVD I think cause so many are available on nostalgia channels like DejaVue and others of the same.

Loved the show -- for its' time, it was a pretty good show back then. Some decent action, stunt work, etc.

Two Words: HEATHER THOMAS. (or for the lovely Tight PINK Sweater shot, we have THIS)

As well, the show also starred the Lovely Markie Post.

I watched this as a youngster, and enjoyed it. And ah yes, Heather and Markie.

And for those who don't know, Lee Majors sang the theme.

Very cool, AND that Is LEE MAJORS "Singing" the Theme song. My Fav theme songs of all-time though were the ones from THE ROCKFORD FILES, & BARNEY MILLER. Classic stuff.

** EDIT: Just saw your post DetroitSportsFan ** (Lol)

This was definitely one of my favorite shows as a kid. I wanted to be a stuntman between this and Hooper with Burt Reynolds being on cable every other day. That said not too sure about a reboot.

I remember watching it when I was younger. It was pretty good, but I didn't watch it every week either. This is not really a reboot is it? It's more of a movie treatment. Is it still considered a reboot when they make it into a movie the first time? IDK.

You have got to be kidding me? The show was not that good to begin with. What's next Family Matters The Motion Picture?

And why not. Looking forward to the Airwolf, Streethawk and Blue Thunder reboots as well. This could be fun if done right.

My French nostalgy channel as Airwolf on weekdays. One of the reasons I did not bother getting the DVD sets.
