Default What's your SmartPhone OS?

The thread on Mobile Apps got me to thinking... what Mobile Phone OS do you all use? I know some of us use multiple, but just mark the one you use the most, and tell us why you like it.

I tried to include the most popular ones, so if it's not on there, choose other, and let us know what you use.

PLEASE DON'T TURN THIS INTO A FANBOY ARGUMENT

Android . . . although lately I've had the jones for an iPhone again, but until T-Mobile gets it/I don't have T-Mobile anymore, I can't deal with the lack of 3G on an unlocked phone

I don't think I ever realized unlocked phones have no 3G...

I've been hearing a lot of that lately...A lot of people are on BB because their company has a discount through them and will pay for their BB plan...

That's the reason I have a Blackberry, the company pays for it. If I were paying for my own phone I'd have gone with something Android based (probably a Droid). I'd love an Iphone but AT&T is horrible in my area.

Let me be the first to answer Windows Mobile 6.5. Aside from having Office Mobile, though, it's garbage—slow, unstable, and not well supported in terms of apps.

I'll be switching to Android soon.

The only smart phone I've ever had as been a Blackberry. I love them and have never had any kind of issue, and I can't imagine having any other type of phone at this point. I also can't imagine not having a smart phone, how spoiled you can become!

I'm sort of surprised at the results so far. Perhaps I expected more people to vote.

I got a Palm Treo 680 in high school, moved onto a Blackberry Curve about halfway through freshman year of college, and have had the iPhone 3GS since launch day, June 2009.

I really enjoyed my Curve except that it started crashing and draining the battery in 3-4 minutes from full charge to no charge (no exaggeration) right around the 2 year mark which was right before the 3GS launched. Now that I have my iPhone I can't even begin to understand how I was so happy with the Blackberry.. For personal use, I'd never go back to BB.

I hear this ALL OF THE TIME! A buddy of mine had a BB for years, and resisted the iPhone... I finally got him to buy a Droid, and he was FURIOUS at BB for "being screwed out of all of this functionality for years."

Hah, its true. I bricked my Treo by getting it wet, and I went with the Curve because it was so thin compared to the Treo which was like a deck of cards in your pocket. Even that had a touchscreen, though, and I don't know what I was thinking getting a phone with a trackball lol.

Anyone leave the iPhone for another smartphone?

Had the Palm Pre (WebOS) for the past year and loved the OS, it is just too bad the hardware was severly lacking. So upgraded to the EVO 4G with Android and so far I'm digging it. I can get 4G a bit in LA as they are starting to turn on towers. The phone itself is great, and after an extensive learning curve I am understanding the hype about Android. Looking forward to 2.2 and 3.0.
