United Kingdom A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) -- October 25th, 2010

Artwork here.

No pre-order link yet, but I will update this post as soon as its available. As for the movie itself, I pretty much hated it. But I'll be buying this, if only to complete my Nightmare collection. At least you get value for money with the Combo pack.

Pretty sure it would've been mentioned on the cover since studios love to sell that stuff.

I have a funny feeling this is gonna be pretty bare bones, Warner havent had a great track record lately with their big movies. There have been very little special features on any of their releases.

Altough I did read somehwere that the blu was gonna have a 6 minute alternative ending.

Would be nice to see the deleted scenes and the original opening, which as stupid as it sounded, looked like it fitted the tone of the movie. The new opening that was shot for the movie didnt do anything for me at all, very poor.

This movie is actually better on repeated viewings, having seen it in the cinema and being completely disappointed, having seen it again via a half decent bootleg someone let me borrow, its actually not that bad, now that I'm free of the build up and hype for the movie.

Is it just cos it's dark but did the title miss out the 'A' in A Nightmare on Elm Street?

Seems like there will no extended cut this time around. Too bad, I think the movie felt a bit rushed. But I want all the deleted & alternate scenes. A commentary by Bayer would be nice, too. I also agree that the movie gets better with repeated viewings. I'll buy it for sure

Thank you Warner! A Nightmare on Elm Street is getting the lenticular sleeve treatment. Will match my Sherlock H and CoTT lenticulars well.

[Show spoiler]

Also, both hmv and Play have an A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984/2010 double-pack up for pre-order.

The cover art looks very nice, I'm going to pick this up next month. I've got the trailer on one of my BD's and looks very good.
