patience is key. when there's news to report, we will hear it. a rumor is a rumor until it's a headline. i for one am choosing to believe nothing til josh posts it on the front page. for now, we should keep buying blu-rays (esp. warner) and continue educating as many people as we can. word.

I honestly don't think you will be hearing anything today. Perhaps Monday there may be something, but I don't think it will be anything earth shattering. One can only be patient and hope for the best.

Now if they keep on paying off more studios, it might work...."

They can go back to the film for the really old stuff, but TV starting in the 70s until 2002 or so are on standard definition tape, aren't they?

I can make one relevant comment here:
I read a TV Guide interview with some network execs regarding their HD plans a few years ago. One result was that HD quality was just good enough that they made the decision to switch filming their "Movie of the Week" to 35mm from 16mm.
