Arcana Heart 3

Examu teamed up with BlazBlue developer Arc System Works for a console version of Arcana Heart 3. This gals fighting game lets users pick one of 23 characters and a move list altering arcana.

The home version of Arcana Heart 3 has a fully voiced story mode and HD anime graphics for super moves. Arcana Heart 3 includes the usual fighting game bells and whistles like a training mode, score attack, and online play. While waiting for a match you can watch other players fight. Arcana Heart 3 also has a gallery mode with a library of event graphics to unlock.

Japan gets the arcade game on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this winter.

We have the 1st Arcana Heart on PS2 in America thanks to Atlus(even though they removed all of the Japanese voice acting during the story and didn't provide an English dub either). I am still waiting on Arcana Heart 2 but doubt that will happen at this point and think that Arcana Heart 3 has a better chance of coming to America.

Never played Arcana Heart, but I have heard of bad things about Arcana Heart 2 such as bugs found in the Japanese home version that affected game-play and because of the lack of sales for the first game in the US is probably why it didn't come here.

But yes, Arcade Heart 3 does seem to have a better chance of coming here and if not, we can always import thanks to PS3 and Blu-ray.

Aksys Announces on Valentine's Day They They Will Bring Arcana Heart 3 to America(Only the PS3 Version), But As A $29.99 PSN Store Download

Aksys picked Valentine’s Day as the date to officially announce Arcana Heart 3 for North America. The girls fighting game has 23 characters and 23 arcana, cards that grant special attacks, to mix and match. Eko, a girl who can breathes life into her drawings, the mysterious Schalachrot, and Weiss, the main character in Arcana Heart 3, are the three newcomers.

While Arcana Heart 3 was a multiplatform release in Japan, Aksys is only releasing the title for PlayStation 3. More specifically, as a PlayStation Network download. Like Battle Fantasia before it, Arcana Heart 3 is a full game with all of the single player stories, training mode, and online play. A digital copies of Arcana Heart 3 will cost $29.99 when it debuts in North America.

The size can't be anymore than 3GBs. I'd say maybe 2GBs approximately.

Agreed. Besides, I need some cute bouncy chest kawaii fighting gals on my PS3 gameshelf to compete with the Asuka 120% game series CD covers on my PS1 and Sega Saturn shelf

EDIT (after reading Moonphase's comment): Yeah, I seriously doubt that will be out on disc besides possibly Japan and/or maybe Europe. Ah well.

2nd EDIT: Yup, Play-Asia has it on disc for $74.90-$79.99 for Japan. Hmmmmmm....Limited Edition goodies
