Has this been confirmed for the US?

No this is merely just NIS Japan announcing that it's coming soon to Japan but I say it does stand a good chance(even though still waiting on La Pucelle Ragnarok which might be announced at NIS America's next Press Conference and maybe even Prinny 2 which I hear is going to be like Winter of this year since the one we just had this month was half titles that'll be releasing this year in America though probably not a complete list of what will still come stateside this year and next one will be more like titles to expect next year).

NIS America is bringing Phantom Brave Portable to North America under the name Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle.

This version of Phantom Brave includes the bonus chapter and all of the tweaks from the Wii version plus five extra characters. Hero Prinny and Unlosing Ranger are some of the cameos Nippon Ichi added to the PSP version.

Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle is slated for release this March on UMD and PlayStation Network. Europe is getting the game too, but in PAL territories its PSN only.

Ya know, I've only vaguely heard about Phantom Brave (mainly through the Disgaea 3 DLC tie-ins.) However, I've heard a lot about La Pucelle: Tactics. So, WHY are they so quick to port Phantom Brave but NOT LP:R?

As usual, I'm so far behind in my PSP/PS3 gaming, it doesn't matter much, but I *would* like for them to announce a concrete "yes" or "no" answer regarding a port....

La Pucelle was ported to PSP awhile ago and yes it does have a new name called La Pucelle: Ragnarok. NIS America hasn't picked it up because of a possible license issue with Mastiff but yes La Pucelle: Tactics is available on PSP so NIS America always says no for bringing it over. I suppose they could buy the license from Mastiff since i'm sure Mastiff doesn't really care about La Pucelle anymore and now that NIS America exists(NIS America didn't exist back when La Pucelle, Disgaea 1, Jigsaw Madness, and Rhapsody came to America and so Phantom Brave PS2 I believe was their 1st game they actually published themselves in America) I think it's possible for them but maybe it has to do with the English dub voice actors.

But I suppose there's also that PSP game that's also part of that Marl Kingdom series like Rhapsody that needs to be brought over as well and that's not even a port. Sure NIS America messed up when they brought over the DS version of Rhapsody but still doesn't mean that we can't enjoy a new game of that series.

Yeah, I know Ragnarok got ported to the DS as well (stateside). I wish they would get around to releasing PS2 games on the PSN. XBox Live appears to have quite a few original Xbox titles on it (something good was listed in a magazine I get.) Is it really the issue of how different the Emotion engine is?

What is up with the chick on the cover of the PSP version of LP:R? She looks like she's gotta be suffering from some serious back pain!

Well I don't remember the game quite well since it's been so long but Prier(the main character of La Pucelle) does have large breasts as well as her Overlord form that you might remember from Disgaea(Prier is also a DLC character for Disgaea 3).

But from what I remember is that her breasts were more like this size or maybe a little smaller

but does look like on that PSP coverart that they did get an upgrade

Oh and the Ragnarok game on DS is a totally different game. Only games NIS developed for DS were just Rhapsody and the 1st Disgaea I believe.

But while some PS2 games would be ok to be on PSN, some will probably need more like those HD remastered collections.
