I just completed a survey and it was very interesting. It had to do with DVD and Hi Def media, Blu-ray, HD DVD and Total HD. Yes, Total HD. The survey asked me numerous questions about which movies I would buy on which formats. Basically, it asked about the same movies 6 different times with 6 different qualities the discs have, either standard DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray DVD combo?(which we all know doesn't exist), THD, etc. It seemed like it was trying to figure out if I would buy The THD disc if that was the only available Hi Def format. I made sure I never picked that option, opting for the standard DVD if I had to. Then it asked questions about packaging and Standard Def video on Blu-ray discs, as would I prefer to buy a single Blu-ray for TV shows that are in SD or a bunch of DVDs if they were the same price. Then it asked me specifically why I chose Blu-ray and one of the options was BECAUSE IT IS MOST LIKELY TO WIN THE FORMAT WAR.
