United Kingdom Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary re-release

If you’re not already aware, on 1st October the classic movie Back to the Future will be re-released in UK cinemas to celebrate its 25th Anniversary, and also to help promote the forthcoming Blu-ray release of the trilogy on 25th October.

This will be the first ever digital presentation of the film and as such will have a limited run for only two weeks in approximately 200 of the UK’s cinemas. Here is the poster and trailer for the re-release:-

Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary - Trailer

As I think I’ve quite clearly pointed out, this is a UK exclusive, so anyone who is living across the pond in the States will sadly not get to see this, which I can imagine will annoy a lot of people here.

Of course, being a UK resident I’m really excited by this, even more so because I wasn’t even born when the movie originally came out, but love it to bits, and it’ll be great to see it on the big screen. I just hope one of my local cinemas will actually show it.

So if you live in the UK, how excited are you by the re-release of this brilliant film?
