I wonder how many are holding out for "3" and did not buy 1 & 2 yet?

Any double dippers out there?

Me! I own 1 and 2 but I can't pass this up. I'll probably sell my individual copies to a friend.

No thanks. I already picked up 1&2, so I just need 3 to complete the collection.

But its just the same versions of 1 and 2 packed in with part 3 (plus digital copies), why not just get 3 alone since you have 1 and 2 already?

Already have 1 and 2 so won't be getting this but it makes me very mad they are NOW including digital copies for the first 2. We wanted those for the first 2 when they came out so my daughter could watch them on our ipod touch. Oh well, atleast the 3rd is coming with a digital copy.

Some people just like owning everything in a neat, tidy little box set, regardless of disc content. My mileage varies depending on the situation (haven't made my mind up for this one yet though). For example, my friend bought the 89-97 Batman films separately because the first one had a digibook, whereas I much preferred the idea of the box set.

Pretty much what you said, with two additions: I am a HUGE digital copy fanboy, and two, I am hoping the trilogy pack will bring similar packaging scheme for the three covers.

Well in that case, I guess I can understand that decision

Just the third film for me as I have 1 and 2 already and have no need for the digital copies (I give mine away) and the artwork being different isn't a big deal for me.

I have 1 & 2 already. I might look for the digital copies for 1 & 2 in the trading forums.

I picked up 1 and 2 for next to nothing, so it would not bother me to gift them or trade them off for just about anything.

I wouldn't mind having digital copies for all three films, but I don't know if I'd want to spend that much for this set just to have the dc's. It would be nice to have all three films in a nice neat little package though. Decisions, decisions, decisions. . .

Then again, I'm sure it would be cheaper to just pick up Toy Story 3 with the inevitable $10 coupon, and then seek out the digital copies for the first two films.

Hoping that this is just a Pirates set situation, with just a relatively bland (in my opinion) box. I know it won't have any new special features, but after seeing the art for 3 I wish it would match the first two, and I don't want to feel like I have the "ugly" ones for being an early adopter.

Of course I'm sure this is wonderful for those who haven't pulled the trigger on the first two yet. Luckily I grabbed both for around 18 or so total, so the price kind of makes up for it.

This is why it seems so odd to me that people wait to get a "boxed set" that has the same thing minus TS3 and those coupons for TS1 & TS2 are no longer valid (and are also more pricey now).

Never got around to getting 1 or 2. So I guess this box set is for me!

I never did pick up 1 and 2. Never got the chance to. So for me it's either this or those Iron Packs that Best Buy looks to be getting along side Futureshop.

I won't concern myself with a box set until all 3 are re-released in 3D.

Like all other Disney BD's, the price will surely drop by release date.
